Changelog
1.0.0-RC10
June 16, 2026
A reliability release for RightPlace Core: hardened zero-knowledge security, steadier email sync, applets that stay installed, and a sign-in flow that protects your local data.
Built for trust and stability
RC10 makes the desktop app more dependable where it matters most. We strengthened the privacy that keeps your data yours, smoothed out email sync, guaranteed your plan’s applets stay in place, and fixed the bugs behind login and local-database issues.

Security and privacy
- Stronger zero-knowledge protection. We hardened the encryption that keeps your data readable only by you, so your content stays private, even from us.
- Safer sign-in. Logging in or changing your password never puts your local data at risk, and a temporary unlock issue is never mistaken for lost data.
- No silent data loss. If your local data ever cannot be opened, you decide what happens next instead of an automatic reset.
- No more silent stalls. Sync recovers on its own after a sign-in token rotates, shows each account’s real status, and offers one-click re-authentication when access expires.
- Everything stays in sync. Server-side deletions and moves now mirror locally, with readable previews and unified search across your device and the server.
- Automatic categories. Incoming mail is sorted for you, with a one-time pass over older messages.
Applets stay installed
- Included applets, guaranteed. The applets in your plan install automatically and repair themselves if anything goes missing, even offline.
- No false alarms. The Applets page no longer flags applets you do not have as missing or corrupted.
Updates
- More reliable updates. Over-the-air updates gained stronger integrity checks and only offer versions compatible with your app and plan.
Platform
- Smoother and steadier. Cleaner browser shutdown, no interface freeze during large imports, and a clearer message when a connected WordPress site’s database is down.
